Curtis speaks at gatherings across America on a range of topics, with special focus on the following:

• Reframing anxiety as an opportunity for spiritual growth
• Renewing organizations and one’s own organizational life via a surprising theology of institutions
• Reforming the Christian approach to politics to heal the toxic divisions within our society and the American Church.

Curtis is available for a limited number of online events.

Invitations are generally considered in two categories:

A. events that deepen existing partnerships with Redeeming Babel or otherwise advance our mission in some highly strategic way

B. events with other entities and audiences generally interested in hearing from Curtis

For invitations in category A, please contact Redeeming Babel.

For invitations in category B, Curtis’s speaking fee is $5,000 per event, plus travel/lodging expenses. If the topic is anxiety and the audience is 300 or more, Curtis will waive his speaker fee in exchange for a purchase of his book for every attendee.

His speaking fee for online engagements is $1,000 for the first hour and $500 for each additional hour.

Please note that Curtis donates his speaker fees to support the mission of Redeeming Babel (a non-profit 501c3). Curtis’s time allotted to speaking engagements that involve travel outside the Bay Area is limited and usually requires months of advance scheduling.

Because this structure is designed to support the non-profit mission of Redeeming Babel, we generally adhere to it.
