We are actively seeking a Manager of Growth Marketing to join our team in a dynamic, flexible, entrepreneurial role. At Redeeming Babel, we are most focused on finding the right fit for our vision & culture and trust that the exact parameters of the job (most notably the number of hours per week) will sort themselves out through deliberate exploration and conversation.
We’re searching for a thoughtful Christian of mature faith who can lend his or her prior experience (in a for- or non-profit environment; in a faith- or non-faith-based organization) to our small team and thereby play a major role in the next chapter of our growth. This is an exciting role at the very center of our work. It could be a strong fit for a big-picture, strategic thinker with real tactical expertise who wants to work at the intersection of faith & culture.

About The Role
We are looking for a Director of Growth Marketing to lead our performance marketing efforts. This role will report to our Director of Engagement and is responsible for leveling up our organic and paid marketing efforts. The ideal candidate has 5+ years of experience in growth marketing in a nimble, fast-growing environment. He or she has a deep understanding of various growth marketing levers and is a robust individual contributor who is capable of managing up and out (i.e. external contractors).
As both a strategist and a tactician, key responsibilities include:
- Drive growth across multiple channels by increasing:

- Newsletter/email subscriber base
- Podcast listenership
- Brand awareness and engagement
- Revenue for Redeeming Babel’s fundraising initiatives

- Execute and optimize strategies for:

- Email marketing campaigns and automations
- Paid and organic growth initiatives for subscriber lists and podcast audiences
- Build strategies for leveraging content strategy (e.g. SEO, trending topics, freebie ideas, etc.)
- Analyze performance metrics and create actionable insights for ongoing improvement.
Requirements
- At least 5+ years in digital marketing
- Excellent copywriting and proofreading skills
- Able to guide creative input, development, and execution from concept to completion
- Experience with paid advertising campaigns on channels like:
- Google Ads (including YouTube)
- Instagram/Facebook
- Experience with email marketing, building and designing email templates, and creating automations
- Excellent understanding of conversion path design and optimization including landing page design, offer building and testing, improving conversion rates, and building digital marketing ecosystems
- Experience with Mailchimp, WordPress, and Canva
- Exceptional reporting skills including extensive experience with Google Analytics
