Dear Sir, This message is for Pastor Ray Ortlund. You don’t know me but,I want to tell you how much I appreciate your teaching of Gods word particularly the book of Isaiah.I down loaded the entire sermons I think there were 60 some sermons from Kent Hughs old web site.I transferred them to my mp3 player and listened to them as i worked during the day .I clean residential homes for a living and am truly blessed to be able to have the freedom to do this. {I am very careful who I glean from and do listen to other teachers as well}but after about a year of time of doing this I started to put pieces together about the gospel,The Lord in my personal life and the Joy just filled my soul like I have never known before!I am so grateful to the Lord for you and your love for the truth in Christ and sharing it with others.I wanted to say thank you for all you contribute to the work of God in Christ.I recently came across a show, a young woman who was talking about you in a bad way.Putting you down because you supported kamala Harris for President. At first it upset me and I was thinking she was in the right. But only for a moment. Then the Lord started showing me the truth. In essentials unity ,in non essentials diversity,in all things charity.Who you vote for is not an essential issue when it comes to salvation and the gospel message.(I personally voted for Trump.}I am sorry for the pain and grief you must have been through over this.I think she owes you a public apology,(probably won’t get it though} But just so you know as one who knows the Lord in truth and am born again,I do not fault you for having your own opinion.I see this woman as a superficial christian and needs prayer for her own soul. Please don’t let this discourage you from continuing teaching and preaching the word.Thank you for being faithful to the Lord.God bless you.In Christ, Tammy McSpadden
